Ordering and Payment

What about orders around Christmas and New Years Eve?

A crazy time of year. Orders placed for "IN STOCK" items before Christmas, will in most cases, be sent out to arrive before the big red suited guy. Unfortunateley, this is also a very busy time of year for the postal and courier services, so delivery before the 25th isn't a given. Best tip, is to shop early, and if you have any questions, drop us an email.

Our warehouse closes over the Christmas period. For orders between Christmas and New Years, your products will not be shipped until the 3rd of January 2012, for "in stock" items, and "Available" items won't be shipped until the ordered items reach us, generally 2 or 3 days later.

Is a safe online shop?

Yes it is. You can be rest assured you are dealing with a company that has been in business in Australia for over ten years, and our distribution partner is one of the biggest in the country. The only credit card details we store, are the last 4 numbers, so you can view your account history, and identify the cards you have used for purchases. All transactions are processed through a secure server, matter of fact, if you look to the address bar in the browser, you will see a coloured block with our address in it. (blue in explorer and green in Firefox). This indicates that the whole site is covered by 256 bit private key encryption, and you can be confident that between you and us, is just a scrambled bunch of numbers, that even protects you...and wi-fi hotspots, and other potentially unsafe networks.

What about if I'm not in Australia?

Unfortunately at this stage, we are only shipping to Australia. We are looking forward to adding international shipping to our service, but at this stage, we are only servicing local orders. New Zealand will be the next country to have access to the experience. Drop us an email if there is something you are after. We are happy to deal on a personal basis until our international online business is in full swing.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Well that depends on a couple of things. Firstly, we are well placed to send orders to the whole country very quickly, but if you are "off the map" so to speak, the delivery may take longer than average. Most orders are sent out same day, on weekdays, if ordered before 3pm EST, or the next day if after 3pm EST, if your items are in stock. We currently do not ship on weekends. It will also depend on your choice of postage. If you chose to pay extra for Express Delivery, or a courier service, you will get your goods faster, and sometimes, even next day!

Why are you cheaper than a lot of other stores?

Because we think if we give you a good deal, you'll keep coming back! We have lower overheads than traditional retailers, so we pass the savings to you. Don't worry though, you can be sure you are buying product shipped from within Australia.


What about a warranty if my goods are faulty?

Yes you get a full warranty on any defective product. Something you are not likely to get on goods bought from overseas. Just visit the Warranty section, and submit an RMA request within 30 days of purchase on the Warranty Information page. Of course there are conditions, so it's worth a read if you find yourself in this situation. As you are buying software, if it has been opened, and it is not faulty, we won't be able to exchange or refund it. This is in line with all major retailers and etailers.


Do I have to register to buy from

No you don't, but it's a good idea to. There are a few reasons for this, but the most important one is service. For us to deliver you a great service, you need to be able to access all the information you need at your fingertips. Having an account is the best way to do this. It's free to sign up, and we've even integrated a facebook sign-up tool, so you don't need to type too much. If you haven't done it, do it now, you get access to special offers, updates on specials, and you might even get a birthday that's bound to make you a happi customer!

What will you do with my details when you have them?

Sell them of course! No...only joking. We use your membership details to give you a great shopping experience. We send you a newsletter, keeping you up to date with gaming goodies from the triggahappi store, which you can opt out of at any time. Why you would want to, is a mystery to us, but hey, it's your inbox. We also customise your shopping experience based on what you tell us. As for your personal stuff, that's exactly what it is. Can I un-register from your site?

If you really really want to, yes you can, although it's probably easier to just opt out of the email updates. If you do want to hide your identity from the matrix, you will need to contact us via the contact us page, and let us know of your request. Alternatively...just follow the white rabbit.


If it says "IN STOCK" is it really, or are you just saying that?

IN STOCK items are in stock, in the warehouse, and ready to ship same day. We are not one of those little drop shipper sites, with out of date items. Our stock levels are updated every 5 minutes, on average, so they are pretty accurate.

If it says "OUT OF STOCK" when will it be in?

Well that depends on the item. If it is a product yet to be released, and it isn't available for sale yet, it will display OUT OF STOCK...but fear not triggahappi gamers, you can PRE-ORDER at our amazing prices. Just click on the pre-order button, and buy like you normally would, and you'll get the game on your doorstep, as soon as we are allowed to send it!

From time to time, stores are "short changed" on popular pre-order stock by the publishers (if the game is in short supply). It's pretty rare, but it can happen. In this case, games are sent out on a first come, first serve basis. As soon as more stock arrives, it it sent out to the remaining pre-order customers.

What about older "OUT OF STOCK" items?

We can't keep everything ever made in stock....although you would be surprised just how much we do have. If an item is not a pre-order item, and out of stock, chances are we have just run out.


You do have the option to purchase out of stock items, and they will appear in your account as a "back-order". This means we order one in from our supplier, and as soon as we get it, we send it to you.

If it is an older item, it's possible it has been discontinued, but nobody told it's best to contact us to find out. We are more than happi to help


Is postage really free during promotions, or am I just paying for it in the price?

Come on....did you actually look at our prices? Sure, plenty of online sellers claim free postage, but load the price. Not! Like we said before, we want you to come back again and again, and again, so we keep the prices low. Free postage promotions are exactly that. Tell your friends!

Standard postage on games is free during "Free Postage" promotions. At other times, postage is charged at standard Australia Post rates...about $1.80 per title. Special edition game packs, that are larger than normal may incur a postage charge, which will be displayed at checkout. The same goes for accessories. Consoles are shipped via courier service, with insurance, and these charges will be displayed at checkout also. If you have any questions about postage, just drop us an email.

What about Express post or registered that ever free?

Alas, no, express and registered postage is more expensive, so we have to pass the cost on to you. On the up side, we do subsidise your upgraded postage options, so it's a small price to pay to get your goods in a speedy fashion, or to have the piece of mind that comes with a signed for delivery. Lets face it, you're still saving a bundle. Also, Express Post items are insured up to a value of $50 and Registered Post items are insured up to a value of $100. You can also use a courier service, for speedy next day delivery to your door, with a signature. Not a bad idea if you are buying a few items.

Why do you try to get us to choose upgraded postage at checkout?

Because we want happi customers. Sure, you can ship your items free, using standard postage, but there are risks with that. (no delivery insurance) We ship via Australia Post, and they are pretty good, but problems can occur. If you choose the free standard postage, it's between you and Australia Post. We'll do what we can to help you out, but, as stated clearly in our terms and conditions...once it leaves the warehouse, it's all in your hands.

Do you combine postage?

Yes we do. The initial charge remains the same, then for each extra item, a small additional charge is added to cover the increased weight. Usually buying 2 or three items, makes registered post or courier very affordable (thanks to your savings)and you get peace of mind as well.

What about if I order something huge and heavy?

Generally we don't stock items that fit this description, but if oversized and extremely heavy items are listed and sold, they may incur a shipping charge. This cost will depend on the size and weight of the item, and will be displayed in the Shipping & Handling section of the triggahappi order form.

What if my goods don't arrive?

When the goods are shipped to you, you will receive a confirmation that your new games purchases are on the way, via the email account you logged in with. Delivery times vary, but most items won't take longer than five days. As per Australia Post guidelines, mail cannot be claimed as undelivered until 14 days have passed. If after this time, you still haven't got your goods, let us know by sending an email to, be sure to quote your order number in your email. We will instruct you on how to proceed.

Do you have a release date delivery option?

For PRE_ORDER items, we work with the publishers on an individual basis, to offer release date delivery. If on a PRE_ORDER you are offered the release date delivery option, then you must select this as your preferred delivery method. This will generally incur an express or courier post charge. Of course your location may mean your delivery does not arrive on the actual release date, especially if you are in regional areas. We will always do our best to meet delivery times if possible.
